Sharing the love…
This post is really about a personal ‘Thank you’ to Addy, as seen here with her fiance Aaron. Addy has been a great friend over the last few years and I’m photographing her wedding in August 2011. Addy is from France and has been living in Australia for the last 4 years and her father whom I met last year, has his own little jewelry shop in Gueret, France.
Addy’s Dad has made our engagement / wedding rings and they arrived today. WOW! I had no idea when they were going to arrive as it was meant as a surprise for me, but funny, I had brought Addy’s images home tonight to put on a post and send her family a big, ‘ THANK YOU’, for putting their amazing love and talent into our rings, even though, then, I hadn’t seen them yet.
I guess it’s times like this that you realise everything is connected, and right now I feel so blessed to have such an amazing engagement ring – from France – on my finger – made with love, and now delivered with the help of friends, and finally by my (now official) fiance!
Addy, thank you for being such a wonderful friend and we all think you look absolutely amazing in these images and hope you and Aaron will treasure them over the years. It’s such a special thing you have done by arranging your father to make our rings, we truly love them and will treasure them forever. If you can translate this ‘love’ and ‘gratitude’ to your parents, we can’t thank you enough. We are so looking forward to your wedding in 2011 and I’m looking forward to capturing all the special moments you will share with your family then.
Nat and Harvey xx
